What Kagame regime has done to remember about 2011?

Rwandans say will never forget what Kagame’s regime did in 2011!

After kissing the year 2012, Umuvugizi team decided to look back at what Kagame’s regime has left for Rwandans to remember about 2011.
Those we talked to swore never to forget what Kagame’s regime did for the entire country in 2011 especially because it started with the kidnapping of several Rwandan youths in the name of clearing Kigali streets and were taken to Iwawa Island while others have since completely disappeared.

The year 2011 has ended with Rwanda’s opposition rotting in prison with the course of their cases not known. The same year can never be forgetton in the history of the media in Rwanda, it is when Kagame’s regime killing journalist Charles Ingabire in cold blood while journalists Agnes Uwimana Nkusi and Saidati Mukakibibi were sentenced to prisoned with heavy sentence while the murderers of Umuvugizi editor Jean Leonard Rugambage were mysteriously released.

The year will not be forgotten in Rwandan history in that it’s when president Kagame publically abused an envoy of Rwanda’s number one donor USA simply because of advising him to revise on his autocratic methods of ruling Rwandans . This happened when president Kagame stood before the public and abused the US ambassador to the UN Suzan Rice for having advised him on giving out political space to Rwandans , opening up freedom of expressions and to stop assassinating and suffocating the media.

It was during the same year that Kagame’s former ally-turned critique,  Dr Rudasingwa Theogene, let out Kagame’s secrets when he publically said that the plane that killed former president Habyarimana and Burundian president Ntaryamira was downed on Kagmae’s orders.

The year also saw Kagame increasing getting scared of his critics forcing him to stop supporting Museveni’s opposition .

The year also left no independent media in Rwanda, all online media outlets closed down by Kagame’s spies to the extent that the government now decides for the public what to read and listen to.
In the year 2011, corruption and theft of public wealth by Kagame’s were exposed internationally when the Belgian judiciary ordered for the freezing of the Rwandan embassy accounts for having refused to pay a Rwandan contractor.

Last year left Rwandans in absolute poverty while the president got more richer where he bought planes and erected posh houses.
The year also exposed Kagame’s weaknesses when Rwandans demonstrated in several countries in Europe and the USA against Kagame’s dictatorial regime.
