Kagame Government continue to launch cruel assails against foreign donors
By Jb Gasasira SwedenFaced with surprising and unprecedented pressure from the international community especially long time friendly countries over Rwanda’s long arm involvement in the DRC escalating conflict, President Kagame’s government continue to busk its head in the sand like an ostrich without any shame.
Reliable information available to Umuvugizi confirm that after friendly countries like America, Sweden, UK, German and the Dutch governments decided to freeze their aid to Rwanda over its widely known military support to DR Congo M23 rebels, President Kagame’s government embarked on cruel campaign assails to ensure that all Rwandans hate these donors that have heavily contributed to the much praised Rwandan’s development.
Those instructions for hate campaign for Rwandans against foreign donors are under direct supervision of President Kagame and his Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo through various local media houses, where they buy airtime for different programs full of arrogance, hate and despising those donor countries that have for long time contributed tremendously to Rwanda’s growth.
To-date, 50% of Rwanda’s national budget is fully financed by those countries that President Kagame so much rebukes and belittles yet they have been at the forefront of the country’s development. What is of much concern is that instead of Kagame’s government putting an end to supporting of the terrorist group that has continued to unleash untold suffering to millions of Congolese, for it to receive that aid again, continues to launch daily abuses of those donors using different media platforms like the national television, radios, social networking sites that include among others Facebook, blogs and twitter and other newspapers that it owns or has direct control.
