After the former United States Under-Secretary for African Affairs in the George Bush Administration, Jendayi Frazer appeared on the Aljazeera TV on Sunday answering questions on the UN report on Congo where she refuted that the report is lacking more evidence, this led many academics to question the authenticity of her remarks and what was the credibility that she does not see in that report. Many instead defined her as a political tool of African dictators who have been behind the insurgency and conflict in the region so that they could plunder the wealth of Congo.
This is the second time that the panel of UN Experts have exposed how the arms of M23 were bought by Rwanda with photographic overwhelming evidence. Indeed, among the evidence, the UN Report produced the RDF Service Cards while on the battlefield with M23, the report produced photos of fallen soldiers with their names who were laid to rest in the Kanombe military cemetery
It is worrying for Frazer to make such remarks that there is no tangible evidence in the UN Expert Report on DR Congo war on the Aljazeera yet the UN Experts have gathered overwhelming evidence of former soldiers of M23 rebels who deserted the rebel group revealing how they were trained by the Rwandan Military (RDF), where these trainings were conducted in different parts of Rwanda and some parts of Congo like in Runyoni .
Further evidence is the way the war was planed and commanded by Rwandan senior military officers under the command of the minister of defence Gen. James Kabarebe, Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Kayonga Charles, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Gen Jack Nziza and Brig.Gen. Ruvusha Emanuel who is regional division commander together with the war technician Gen. Bosco Ntaganda who is a fugitive wanted by the International Criminal Court and the way all these combat operations were conducted with the knowledge of President Kagame who personally oversees the supply of military logistics by the RDF leadership.
More military evidence were the Communication Apparatus in between Gen James Kabarebe and his colleagues with M23 operational commanders .Additional evidence was also captured by the Satellite where movements of soldiers of Rwandan Defence Forces were shown while fighting along side M23 rebels during their battle with the Congolese government soldiers and the UN combat helicopters. All this reliable and credible evidences submitted by the UN Expert Report made all the academics we talked to, to wonder whether Frazer is lacking information on this issue of UN Report of Experts who were mandated by the UN Security Council of which it’s Member states are very worried and concerned by M23’s war in Congo which is killing a lot of innocent civilians and left others displaced .
